Dr. Elizabeth Sirna MD,
MA Medical Director

Dr. Elizabeth Sirna, MD, MA, is a graduate of Albert Einstein Medical School. She trained in general surgery for 1 year before completing a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Virginia, the first woman to do so. This was followed by two Fellowships, in Knee and Spine surgery. She went on to co-found the Florida Spine Institute in Clearwater, practiced for 10 years and specialized in degenerative disease of the spine. Her practice today focuses on regenerative medicine, interventional pain management, and clinic based orthopedics. She also has completed the Florida course to certify patients for medical marijuana or CBD treatment. In her spare time, Dr. Sirna enjoys training German Shepherd Dogs in agility and for law enforcement.


Melina is a native Floridian who has been in the healthcare industry for over 7 years. She has experience working in integrative clinics, providing large joint and trigger point injections. Melina received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of South Florida, where she graduated with Honors. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is an active member in the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. Melina believes in a “whole body” approach to medicine which focuses on the entire patient, rather than a single symptom. She has trained extensively in platelet rich plasma therapies for use in aesthetics as well as musculoskeletal conditions. She is also a certified BOTOX and dermal filler provider. She has a passion for regenerative medicine, research, aesthetics, and orthopedics. Melina resides in Ruskin with her husband; she enjoys traveling, reading, music, and photography.


Born and raised in Minnesota, Sunny graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Northern Iowa. She is also a certified functional movement and performance taping specialist. With a passion for helping others, her ultimate goal is to get her patients to achieve the highest quality of life possible. Using a variety of techniques to rehabilitate her patients,she believes each patient deserves high quality, individualized care. Sunny currently resides in Sarasota and enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling in her spare time.

Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Lewis has been in practice since 2006 and believes healthcare should be a collaborative effort. He created Synergy Medical to better serve the community by integrating the best of modern medicine and evidence based natural therapies. He is a graduate of Texas Chiropractic College in Houston and has worked in health care for over 15 years. He also holds a B.A. and M.A. from George Mason University in Virginia. Dr. Lewis is a licensed Florida Chiropractic Physician and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), the Florida Chiropractic Association and the ACA Council on Diagnosis and Internal Disorders. He firmly believes that it is the choices we make that influence our “golden years.” He is happily married and has two children. Dr. Lewis enjoys staying active by competing in triathlons, Spartan races, scuba diving, cycling and traveling.

About Ann Marie Lewis

Ann Marie received her BSN in Nursing at The Pennsylvania State University in 1986. She began her nursing career as an ICU nurse and spent 8 years in all phases of critical care before enrolling in a Masters of Anesthesia program at Westmoreland-Latrobe Hospitals School of Anesthesia. She has been a board Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist since 1995, and throughout her 25 years as a CRNA has had extensive experience administering Ketamine to her patients. She is excited to be offering this potentially life-changing solution for chronic pain or mood disorders in a safe, peaceful, office setting. She believes in delivering the best and most current treatments to her patients, and Ketamine holds potential to aid in the opioid epidemic as well as a treatment for major depression, suicidal ideation, & PTSD. Ann Marie is member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) and Florida Association of Nurse Anesthetists (FANA). She resides in Sarasota with her husband and two children. She loves to cook & enjoys dinners with friends & family. She is an avid live music fan, which is the back story on how she met her husband in Austin. She loves the beach & the Gulf‘s calming effects and she is a certified scuba diver.
